What hiring a 123 project manager will mean for you

At 123 Projects we are happy to work with the professionals and trades you recommend, or we have a team of professionals who have prior, positive experiences working together. We always try to bring together people who can communicate effectively and resolve problems quickly and amicably.

Before we start demo day, we will help you get a firm understanding on your project scope and budget. It is also good idea to add 10% to 20% contingency to your budget and add the same amount to your timeline. Things do happen, even with the best planning.

We would strongly recommend moving out of your home during the renovation. Especially if you are doing a major remodel, where electrical and plumbing will be down for some time. However, if you are redoing the kitchen or a bathroom (and you have another to use), then you can stay put.

Our project management fees

At 123 Projects we keep it simple, our project management fees are 9.9% incl. gst of your total renovation budget or $132/hr incl. gst, depending on the task. For single quotes we charge $165 incl. gst to meet trades on-site and secure a quote or $1100 incl gst for 7-10 quotes. Yes, we charge a fee, gasp! But a badly managed project can cost you time, money and you may not achieve the results you were after. 

On the flip side, we don’t put a mark-up on the items or trades we help you secure. Therefore we may end up saving you more than our fee! So, let us take care of everything and allow you the peace of mind to sleep at night.
