If you’re renovating in Ashgrove, Enoggera, or anywhere across Brisbane’s inner north west, you probably want to know one thing before you get too far into planning: what does a project manager actually cost? Here’s the honest answer, with nothing hidden in the fine print.
Our fee is 15% (incl. GST) of your total renovation budget, or $132/hr incl. GST depending on the task. Which one applies usually comes down to the size and shape of the job, and we’ll talk you through it before anything is locked in.
If you just need us to meet trades on-site and pull together a quote, that’s a smaller job on its own:

We’d also recommend building 10 to 20 percent contingency into your budget and timeline from the start. Even a well-planned reno throws up a surprise or two once walls come down.
We’re based in Enoggera, right in the middle of Brisbane’s inner north west, which means Ashgrove renovations are close to home for us. We regularly work across Ashgrove, Alderley, Gaythorne, Newmarket, Wilston, The Gap, Bardon, Kelvin Grove, Red Hill and Mitchelton, so we know the character of the homes in this pocket of Brisbane, from the Queenslanders to the post-war brick.
Our standard fee is 15% incl. GST of your total renovation budget, or $132/hr incl. GST depending on the task. If you only need trades sourced and quoted, see the flat rates above.
No. We don’t mark up trades or materials. Our only charge is the project management fee itself.
For questions about what’s involved day-to-day, using your own trades, or council approvals, see our Project Management page.
